The colours and images have been fired onto the handmade tiles at 900 degrees centigrade, creating an extremely durable finish. These scratch, heat and water resistant tiles make ideal trivets or coasters to protect wooden surfaces from hot dishes or saucepans. They can also be hung like pictures, on their own, or in simple wooden frames, which we sell separately.
These tiles are not hand painted but are printed using an innovative new process that faithfully copies the original designs.
